Position tracking - rank tracker

We check your site's Google positions for the keywords you choose every day. You see what goes up, what drops and who ranks above you.

A rank tracker for Google positions

The Seomaker rank tracker follows your website's positions in Google search results for the keywords you choose. Every keyword is checked automatically once a day, in the country and language you set, on desktop or on mobile. Nothing to click and no manual checks to remember.

You get a table with today's position, the best position of the last 7 and 30 days and the URL that ranks, plus 30-day charts and a preview of the whole top 100. That is how you see whether site changes, new content and links really move you up in Google.

What the rank tracker measures

  • One check a day

Every keyword is checked automatically once a day. One check per keyword per day, no manual refreshing and no schedules to keep.

  • The top 100 results

We look for your domain in Google's top 100 organic results. If several of your pages rank, the highest one counts and the table shows its URL.

  • Country, language and device

For every keyword you pick the country and language of the results and desktop or mobile. Defaults come from the project, so for one market you set them once.

  • Today and best position

The Today, Best 7d and Best 30d columns show where a keyword is now and how high it was recently, so a one-day dip does not hide the trend.

  • Search volume

For keywords we have data for, you see the monthly search volume, so you know which positions are worth fighting for.

  • Data export

On paid plans you can download tracked keywords, position history, position distribution and daily changes as CSV, XLSX or a ready-made file for AI.

How to start tracking positions

  1. 1

Add your domain as a project

A project is your website. Its country and language are the default market for new keywords.

  2. 2

    Paste your keywords

Up to 100 keywords at once, one per line or separated by commas. You can also pick them from suggestions your domain already shows up for.

  3. 3

    Check the results every day

The first check arrives within a day, then every day. Positions, charts and the SERP preview update on their own.

Frequently asked questions

A free account tracks 5 keywords, and its check pool lasts about a month of daily checks. Paid plans include 100 keywords (Start), 300 keywords (Pro) or 1100 keywords (Advanced), with a check pool renewed every billing period. Prices are on the pricing page.

Once a day, automatically. Every keyword gets one check per day and the result appears in the table on its own. There is no manual refresh and no several checks a day: Google positions change over days, so a daily check shows the trend without the noise.

Down to the 100th organic result. If your site is not in the top 100, the table shows >100. When several of your pages rank, the highest one counts and the table shows its URL.

Yes. For every keyword you choose the country and language of the results and the device: desktop or mobile. Tracking works at country level, without city-level locations. The default country and language of new keywords come from the project settings.

As many as your plan includes: 5 on a free account, 100, 300 or 1100 on paid plans. The limit is shared by all projects on the account. A paused keyword frees its slot and keeps its history.

Not directly. We measure your position in regular Google results, and AI Overviews mostly cite sources from the top of those results. Checking AI answers themselves is still a manual task.

Paste your own list or pick from suggestions: keywords your domain already shows up for, sorted by search volume. You can also bring keywords over from competitor analysis and keyword research: select them and add them with the Add to Rank Tracker button.

Yes, on paid plans. Download tracked keywords, position history, position distribution and daily changes as CSV, XLSX or a file for AI (Markdown), ready to paste into a chat. The history export covers more than the 30 days shown on the charts.

Yes. Once you connect Search Console, the app has a separate screen with clicks, impressions and positions from Google, and the Search Console audit puts them next to the latest rank tracker check.
